The Short Answer
Our top pick is Aparthotel Adagio Paris Centre Tour Eiffel in the 15th arrondissement, a walk from the Eiffel Tower. Its 75-square-meter two-bedroom apartment has two bathrooms, a double bed, twin beds and a sofa bed, and Adagio says it takes six adults or children.
- Hotel service, not an apartment: Hotel 34B - Astotel, near the Grands Boulevards, has a 40-square-meter Familiale Supérieure for five in two connecting rooms.
- A splurge in the Marais: Le Pavillon de la Reine on the Place des Vosges has family suites with two bedrooms and two bathrooms for up to five.
- The most space: Fraser Suites Le Claridge on the Champs-Élysées has two-bedroom apartments of 90 to 120 square meters for six.
Not every Adagio or Citadines in Paris takes five. The other Paris Adagios we checked, and the Citadines at Tour Eiffel, Les Halles, Saint-Germain and Bastille, stop at four. Our hotel chains guide compares the brands.

What to Check Before You Book
- Connecting rooms vs. one suite. Hotel 34B's family room is two connecting rooms behind a vestibule that can be closed off for your family, not one open room.
- Square meters. Paris apartments are compact. Citadines Trocadéro's two-bedroom is 47 square meters for up to six; Adagio Tour Eiffel's is 75.
- Room names. Generator Paris also sells a Family Room for four, so book the Private 6-Bed Room. In Italy, look for a "quintuple" room; see our Rome guide.
- Babies and cribs. Occupancy rules differ by hotel, and most room pages don't say whether a crib counts. Ask before you book.
Getting to Paris Hotels from the Airports
- From Charles de Gaulle (CDG): about 40 to 60 minutes by taxi to the 9th, the Marais, the Trocadéro or the 15th, depending on traffic.
- From Orly (ORY): about 30 to 50 minutes by taxi to the Marais or the Trocadéro.
- From London: Eurostar trains from London St Pancras arrive at Paris Gare du Nord, in the 10th arrondissement, the same district as Generator Paris. Our London guide covers rooms for five there.
- With five and luggage: book a larger car or van transfer in advance, since a standard taxi may not fit everyone.
