The Short Answer
Our top pick is Tuscany Suites & Casino, just behind the Strip on East Flamingo Road and within walking distance of it. Its Two-Bedroom Suites are over 1,300 square feet, with a king bedroom and full bathroom at each end of a central living room and a kitchenette, for up to six.
- Without a car: Westgate Las Vegas has a Family Suite with two full bathrooms for up to eight and direct access to the Las Vegas Monorail.
- On a budget: Westgate Flamingo Bay, west of the Strip, has two-bedroom villas for six with a full kitchen and a free scheduled Strip shuttle.
- Closest condo to the Strip: Club Wyndham Desert Rose is a block and a half away, with two-bedroom units for six.
Strip hotels are hard for five. The Venetian says its standard suites take a maximum of four, and the STRAT's Classic Family Suite takes four. Our guide to what "sleeps 5" means explains why the room type matters more than the hotel.
